1963 Ford N600 Vintage Classic COE LCF Farm / Hay / Grain / Dump Truck /Big Job
Description
Up for sale is my 1963 Ford N600 Big Job vintage truck. The truck has only 29,000 ORIGINAL MILES on it! I am the second owner of the truck. The truck has the industrial Ford inline 6 cylinder 262 cubic inch engine, and 4 speed manual transmission. The truck is all original, with the exception of some upgrades, that make it far better than it was, when it rolled off the Ford assembly line in 1963. Just installed a new all aluminum radiator (still have the stock radiator if you'd like it), new radiator hoses, new belts, new water pump, new thermostat, new battery, all new battery and body ground cables, new Pertronix coil, new Pertronix electronicignition ( which is concealed inside the stock distributor), new distributor cap, new distributor rotor, new NOS Ford vacuum advance, New NOS starter relay, new NOS voltage regulator, new spark plugs, new spark plug wires, rebuilt carburetor, 3 new gas filters (one just after fuel tank, one just after fuel pump, and one just before the carburetor), excellent tires, Mobil 1 full synthetic oil change. The engine runs and sounds great, and only has 29,000 original miles on it!
The cab and bed were just painted, using $400 a gallon single stage urethane paint, of the very highest quality available. The truck was completely disassembled for the painting process..... the 3 section hood removed, grill, etc. The color of the cab is the original "Y" code Ford paint ( Glacier Blue). Glacier Blue is a very, very rare color for a Ford N600 series truck. Most were painted either red, whit, or black. All the lenses on the truck ( turn signals, parking lenses, tail lights) are all BRAND NEW NOS factory Ford lenses. New side N600 emblems, new gas filler grommet and filler hose, new NOS gas cap... the list goes on and on. This is a 100% RUST FREE truck that has lived it's entire life on an arid Colorado farm.... and was always kept indoors when not being driven. An extremely rare truck, and you most likely will never see another one driving on the road today.
The bed is a steel frame, with original OAK wood !!! The Oak is in awesome condition, and just needs to be sanded, and re-coated with Linseed oil to bring it back to 100% original condition ( I just never got around to doing that yet). Also, the bed is a hydraulic SIDE DUMP bed, as can be seen in the photos.
This truck would make an awesome firewood hauler, hay hauler, or just everyday fun truck around a farm, ranch, or neighborhood. Many, Many hundreds of hours were spent refurbishing this truck to its current condition, as well as thousands of dollars in parts, paint, and labor.
Please take a good look at the numerous photos posted here of the truck, and please message me via eBay me if you have any questions about it, or would like further photos. Thanks!
