Description

I have rust free straight body 1948 Ford F1 Panel Truck. This is a frame off restoration just ready for paint. The frame was sand blasted and painted. Frame was boxed for strength with all bushings hoses lines nut and bolts replaced. The rear end was mini tubbed and 4 link with ladder bars and adjustable coilovers attached to a Franklin Quick Change rearend. Has hardened axles and 373 Richmond gear with a posi center section. New custom fuel cell with working sending unit placed between frame rails at back of truck. Truck has a power 4 wheel disc brake set up with drilled and slotted rotters. Stops on a dime! Front is mustang II rack and pinion with power steering. Has Eibach 2in lowering springs on front. New body bushings to mount the body. Body is a rust free panel truck with new front floor boards that were made with custom trans tunnel and all new wooden rear floor. Body has been sanded and primed and about ready for paint. Only body damage is running board on passenger side under door caught on the lift and rolled the lip out and bent the board up. Easy fix and a new one can be bought fairly cheap to just replace it. Easy fix. Body is in great shape and straight down the sides. All glass and rubber was replaced. Has a Speedway power window kit for driver and passenger doors. Has very nice seats that came from an RV. Most comfortable seats you will ever sit in. Has Dolpin gauges and all work. Has Ididit chrome tilt steering column billet steering wheel and chrome gas pedal. Has Lokar shifter as well. Doors open and shut with ease. New rear wooden floors and new wooden side panels in rear. Rear doors open and shut with ease as well. Has new wiring front to back from Painless Wiring. All lights work to include the blinkers. Now for the drive train. Motor is a big block 454 bored to a 468 with RHS aluminum heads. Has Edelbrock aluminum intake and Edelbrock 750 carb. Internals are forged pistons with Lunati custom ground roller cam. Has double rolling timing chain and Scorpion roller rockers. Has all billet serpentine belt drive with chrome power steering reservoir and chrome alternator. Has a large aluminum radiator to keep it running cool. Exhaust is long tube ceramic coat headers with 3in stainless exhaust and flowmaster mufflers all the way out the back. Sounds amazing. Ignition is procomp box and distributor. Trans is a built 400 turbo with 3k sureshot stall. Compete drive train is perfectly sound. No leaks smoke skips knocks pings or whines. Hit the key and motor fires with ease. Hits a very nice lick and through the flowmasters sounds awesome. Turns heads everywhere!Wheels are Billet Specialties big and littles. Tires are Micky Thompson front and back. Rear wheels are 15in wide. What the truck still needs is paint, heater, and wipers. You will not find this truck anywhere with money and time spent on it for what I'm asking. This was purpose built for the powertour run. I have lots of pics and walk around idol videos. If interested just ask and I can send what I have.Truck runs drives stops rides better than any other hot rod I've had. The big block will get this panel truck hauling when you hit it too.
