Paint and body was done by Chris Dobbs at Huegenics of Trenton, Florida. All corroded/rusted sheet metal replaced with new sheet metal. The drivetrain is an era-correct rebuilt 302 4V replacement from the original 289, with a 4-speed toploader. Recent upgradeto aT5 transmission. All components have been refurbished or replaced with new hardware including, brake lines, fuel lines, fuel tank, brake cables, insulated flooring mat, new suspension, etc. Style steel wheels & brand newB.F. GoodrichSilver Townredline radial tires, brakes, and all mechanical components. This is a non-power steering car with power front power disc brakes, rear drum brakes and new leaf springs, Vintage Air A/C system, Flaming Rivertilt steering wheel, factory GT wood steering wheel with a new non-deluxe saddle-colored interior with courtesy lights on lower doors, folding rear seat, upper and lower consoles, dash clock and under-dash seatbelt and parking brake warning lights, original body BUCK tag still with car. This is a factory ordered tachometer and Trip Odometer car with the GT equipment group and exterior trim group, including stainless steel exhaust tips. Marti Report indicates this as a 289-4V (A code) car with a DSO (District Sales Office) Jacksonville, Florida, and sold new at Ball Ford, Miami, Florida.
