Description

I own a classic car shop in Cannon Falls Mn called Kevin's Klassic cars and I go to Arizona and California and buy cars in the winter and I just have too many projects so I am selling this one. This car comes with a signed off clear Arizona title. Other then a coat of primer on the outside of the car this is just like I bought it. At one time the whole car had been media blasted including the under side. They have put body filler on the body to fix dents or what ever after that but all we did was sand and prime the car. The bottom of the car has no primer and just has some light surface rust. I tried to take pictures of the bottom of the car, all frame rails from what I can see are rust free and nice, all torque boxes look nice and usable, the floor in the back is very nice on the drivers side it has some pin holes so you will need a couple of small patches and the complete front passenger floor will need to be replaced. The tail light panel is new and was only tacked in so it needs to be welded in the rest of the way. The trunk drop offs have some pin holes in them but are usable. The quarters are hard to tell because they have put body filler in them but they have some pin holes that can be filled or if you like you can replace them. The doors are usable they look good on the lower lip but they have some rust on the front corner that can be fixed. (I am a dynacorn dealer and if you want me to load in 2 new doors the extra cost would be 600 for the pair) The cowl is rusty, since it came from Arizona I am guessing that it was filled with leaves or debris and kept moisture in there. I am including a Arizona rust free cowl to go with the car. We can put the new cowl in for you for a labor cost of 600 dollars before you pick up the car if you like. The front fenders have no rust on them but they do have body filler in them, just like they came to me. The hood has had a chunk welded on the front and I would replace the hood but it can be fixed if you want. The previous owner wanted to make this car into a pro-touring car and so he spent a lot of money on the front suspension. They put in a new complete Mustang 2 cross member and they actually did a pretty nice job, they also installed new upper and lower tubular control arms, they put in Ford big block motor mounts with of course a Ford big block 460 sitting in there. They also have a nice power rack and pinion but it is not hooked up to the steering wheel yet. So they cut out the shock towers which you dont need at this point all you have to do is cut out some sheet metal and cover that area up and you are done. They also cut a chunk out of the firewall I am guessing to get the motor to fit, but it looks like it would have fit without doing that, I am sending along a partial new dynacorn firewall that is plenty big to replace that part. The tops of the fender aprons still have the original vin stamped in them, and also they have no rust on the top of the aprons like most Mustangs of course because this car came from Arizona. Most of the interior is there it has two bucket seats and the back seats, it also has the fiberglass pieces on both side of the rear seats. The standard gauge package is there and also it has a non-air dash at this point but if you want an air dash instead just let me know and I will exchange that. Give me a call if you have any questions or want any other pictures. Thanks Kevin Manley. 612-275-8722
