1934 Ford 4 Door Sedan body on Rolling Chassis
Description
I posted a lot of pictures so there are no surprises, the company I got it from did not describe it truthfully and did a really bad job of prepping the body for shipment, so I'm going to let you know the exact state (as I know it) of the body. A lot of work, to stop the rust, has been done since I got it. I have other pictures, describe what area you want a close up on.
I could part this out for a lot more, so no lowball offers, this is a good price. It is your job to inspect or have someone inspect the car for you before purchase. All sales are final.
The following brand new replacement parts are included:
** Rockers,
** Cowl patch panels,
** Front floor pan (rear floor pan would depend on what style you want, so you get/make that) and
** Sub Rails
Fiberglass parts areOptional (add $700): (all new, never mounted or drilled, minor surface scratches nothing deep)
** 3 Piece fiberglass hood, flat sides
** Fiberglass rear fenders
** Fiberglass running boards
** Just one front fiberglass front fender
=============
All 4 doors have been put through an electrolysis tank and primed to keep them from rusting. They have not had the minor dents or all pitting repaired.
Front doors had already had patch panels done, they were stitch welded and the stitches are still open.
The body was shipped here without a frame and they did an incredibly bad job of prepping it for shipment, so new sub rails are included
Most of the body appears solid, but there are normal dents in random places and some minor holes at the top of the wheel well.
Both front window columns have small cracks that will need filled. These seem to be where the roof was originally leaded.
Firewall is in good shape
The pillars between the doors are currently detached.
Not shown: (since the pictures were taken or you can't tell from pictures)
The pillars have been through the electrolysis tank & have been treated/primed.
The cowl vent and all small parts has been through the electrolysis tank and treated with rust converter & epoxy primer or WD40
The roof channels have been cleaned and treated.
All of interior &exterior (except outside wheel wells) have been ground down and treated with rust converter & epoxy primer.
Damaged sub rails, rockers and remaining floorpan removed
Replacement subrails and the front floor pan have been test fitted, not welded or trimmed
Front floor pan, rockers and new subrails coated with epoxy primer
All remaining wood removed to coat area behind it with rust converter and epoxy primered
Rolling Chassis: (it came this way, I have not touched it)
The IFS in the front does not have the springs/shocks and the frame/boxing welds need cleaned up.
The frame is partially boxed and has a modified center cross member area.
The rear shocks are not there, some coil springs are, I have no idea the type rear end or the ratios.
No Title, bill of sale only
Most of the wood in this body is shot, I have another 34 ford four door sedan (the one I am keeping) so you can take as many pictures and measurements as you like. I will be replacing the wood in the car I am keeping, and have been detailing & measuring what was there. The guy that lives behind me is a boat builder & has the tools to replicate the wood if you want (or buy it on the web)
The ad comes down when I have cash in hand, first come, first served. Exact change please.
No haggling, this is a great price.
I will not set up shipping for you, I can recommend 2 places I have used before. If you want to pull your own quote it is currently in zip 33713
