GREAT SHOP TRUCK, 302 V8/AUTOMATIC, RUNNING AND DRIVING, EASY PROJECT! This truck has never been chopped or cut, but has been upgraded to a newer V8 and an auto transmission. Take a look at the video, pictures, and details below, then call Erick at 678-908-6006.
Cosmetic
  • Paint/Body: All original steel body is pretty straight and has minimal rust (see video). Primer grey is consistent color from bumper to bumper. Looks really cool just like it is, or with a hot rod logo on the doors. Minimal body work would make this truck 100% rust free and ready for a sharp paint job.
  • Interior: Early model bucket seats installed correctly and actually look pretty good and period correct. Dash has not been cut or molested. Some original gauges are working, too.
  • Glass/Windows: Windshield and rear glass are original and show normal edges smoking or fraying. Door glass was removed for a full glass conversion, glass is not present (but easy to buy online and not expensive). Window regulators are still there and in working condition.
  • Trunk: Original wood is present underneath a new piece of diamond plate steel.
  • Undercarriage: Solid and rust free frame rails that have never been cut. Floor pans are original and rust free under the seat and to the back of the cab. Drivers side floor pan as a small patch.
  • Wheels/Tires: Older tires on original steel wheels with new hubcaps and beauty rings.
Mechanical
  • Drivetrain: 302 V8 starts easily and runs strong with no smoke or problems. Not sure what year the engine is or when it was last built. New Holley carburetor. C4 Transmission shifts out nicely, linkage is connected to the old 3-speed shifter on the column and may need to be tightened up for easier shifting into drive. The truck drives down the road like an original with a touch of normal play in the steering.
  • Lights/Electrical: Headlights and tail lights work. Brake lights are not coming on, should just need a new switch.
  • Brakes: Brakes have been serviced and stop straight and strong.
You cannot go wrong with a classic Ford at this price. Watch the video then call Erick at 678-908-6006.
