Description

1963 FORD THUNDERBIRD "M-CODE" SPORTS ROADSTERVIN: 3Y89Z103219
This beautiful 1963 Ford Thunderbird has recentlyundergone a complete rotisserierestoration. The car is finished in Corinthian White paint over a gorgeous red leather interior.
This 1963 "Bullet Bird" features the Factory 76B Trim Code, which designates the Sports Roadster package. This Sports Roadster package included aremovable fiberglass tonneau that covered up the Thunderbird's rear seats andincorporated headrests for the front seat occupants into the tonneau cover. This "76B" option also included a passenger side grab bar, Kelsey-Hayes chrome wire wheels with knock-off center caps, and a rear fender skirt delete. This option was highly soughtafter, as it returned the T-Bird to its roots as a two-seat roadster. Only 455 Thunderbird Sports Roadsters were produced in 1963.
Even rarer, perhaps, than the Sports Roadster is the "M-Code" engine, which was a 390-cubic inchtrim-power V8 and a set of three Holley two-barrel carburetors that put out 340 horsepower. In 1963, only 37 M-Code Sports Roadsters were produced.
This extremely rare 1963 Ford Thunderbird M-Code Sports Roadster has been beautifully restored to its original factory specifications. It also features power windows, power driver's seat, and the Thunderbird Swing-Away steering wheel.

On Dec-20-17 at 10:37:52 PST, seller added the following information:

PLEASE NOTE: It has come to our attention that this car is, in fact, NOT an M-Code vehicle.
We were mistaken by the "M" on the VIN plate, which indicates the color Corinthian White. M-Code engineswere also designated by a letter M within the VIN Number. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.
The car has a standard, 390 4-barrel engine option.
It was also brought to ourattention that the original color of this car's interior was black, not red.
