Description

You are bidding on a 1981 Ford F-100 pickup. It is a very nice and solid truck, with No rust issues! It is in amazing condition due to it being a well cared for one-family owned truck living in Sacramento, California. It is an inline 6 cyl that runs great and smooth with an automatic transmission that functions as it should. This truck would drive home to anywhere in the country. Be sure to study the pictures and realize just how solid it is the bottom side and in the seams & braces are as solid as day one off the assembly line! You just don't find them this solid!

The truck is a custom 100, so not a lot of frills but it has power steering and brakes, crank windows, radio delete, dual tanks and no A/C. The dash pad has some cracks but the interior is nice and I guess green interior is a bit rare? I did install a nice split bench seat from a 94 and it looks and seats great! The original seat is green with some of the cloth torn it goes with if you want it. I did replace the rubber mat with a used carpet from a 94 and it is very nice as well. The floor boards underneath the carpet are like new! I do also have the topper that is in nice shape if the buyer might want it for a few $ extra.

The truck has 108,000 miles on it, but it feels more like 60,000 or so. It is very tight feeling with no clunks, bumps, squeaks, rattles or wind noise, good and solidsuspension is all good, I just installed a new windshield and I did replace the window felts and door opening gaskets with nice used ones, (since the sun & heat of Calif. dried them out), It is very quiet and such a pleasure to drive I really hate to part with it but I did not buy it to keep, just to do a job of hauling some items around in Calif back in Oct. when I was out there buying some parts. But it is such a good truck I thought some of you guys here in the rust-belt would sure enjoy it, you see in one of the pictures where it's loaded on a flatbed in Sacramento, Calif with some other stuff I rounded up to bring back, The engine may have been rebuilt since it runs so well, it has a new carb, & radiator I did install an exhaust manifold gasket and the rest of the exhaust system is top notch shape. All the trim and bright work is in great shape! This truck had all it's original paint and has never had a bolt turned on the body, (meaning nothing has ever been damaged) it has a few minor dings & a soft dent or two and the insert paint was sun-baked so we went ahead and prep & painted the green color and it looks great! also media blasted the rear step bumper & painted silver so it is like New! This is an investment grade vehicle and will make someone very happy to own, we have it at a fair priceso be sure to bid to Win!

So now it's your turn to own this great truck, we are a licensed Nebraska dealer of classic vehicles so the next owner will be the second true owner. If you need any other pictures or information feel free to call 402 475 9968 or come by to see it at 712 w Cornhusker Hwy in Lincoln, Nebraska
