Description

Up for sale is my wife’s 1955 Ford F100 pick-up. She has owned this classic beauty for the past 6+ years and the truck is driven multiple times a week. The F100 has been sub-framed with a early 70’s Torino front suspension and drives like a dream going down the road. Since we have owned the truck, we have installed a late model 5.0L (302) roller motor with approximately 30K miles on it and converted it with a new aluminum dual plane intake, new QuickFuel carb, new electronic ignition, and a new aluminum 3 core radiator and a Flowmaster exhaust system that exits out the back of the truck. The transmission is a rebuilt C6 with a mild shift improver kit followed by a 9” Ford rear axle. Additionally the truck now has all new power disc brakes (including new rotors and calipers, new drums and shoes, a new master cylinder and vacuum booster and new rubber lines) as well as a new steering box, all new ball joints, tie-rod ends, sway bar bushing, shocks, etc. etc. The F100 also has a brand new set of wheels and tires and have maybe 5K miles on them since installed. As mentioned, the F100 has power steering, power disc brakes, air conditioning that blows ice cold and the lights, wipers, turn signals, gauges, radio, etc work. This truck is 100% road worthy and I would not think twice about driving her across the country as it sits. Please note, this truck has been our “farm truck” used for hauling hay, local cruise-in’s and car shows, the occasional grocery store run, etc. and is by no means a show truck. The paint is faded, the interior shows wear, the bed is 3/4” plywood and there are several dents, dings and bubbling rust issues (please be sure to look at all the photos and videos). The truck is 68 years old and is being sold “as is” and “where is” so ask questions, come look at her in person, do your own homework because all sales are final and binding.

You can continue to do what my wife has done and continue to drive and enjoy this classic in her current condition (patina’d) or you can do a full restoration and make her pristine but either way, you are getting a GREAT truck that gets constant attention every time she is driven. Please message me if you have more questions or want to come see the truck in person.

Thanks for looking, here'sa short clip of the truck driving: (you may need to copy and paste in your browser)
