Description

1970 Ford F-100 Ranger SWB. Truck was stripped down to the frame. Frame was primed and painted. Alignment Specialties in Boise, ID hung the DJM suspension and handled front end alignment. Discount Tire provided the wheel and tire combo. Wheels are American Racing 17 x 8 5-139.7. Tires are Goodyear Assurance touring P235/65/17. Paul's Transmission in Baker City OR did a lot of work to this truck. They rebuilt the original inline 6 cylinder, rebuilt the 4 speed manual trans, installed new radiator, re-wired the entire truck & installed new brakes all the way around. Idea was to have the under hood look as close to what it did back in 1970. Jim's Drive Train in Garden City, ID built and installed the new drive line. Boise Muffler built the exhaust. Jim's Upholstery in Nampa, ID recovered the original dash pad, door panels, headliner, sun visors and bench seat. New carpet kit installed. New fuel tank (behind seat). Truck was painted inside the cab and under hood with the original Wimbledon white color prior to installing the engine and components as well as interior. Dynamat was placed under the carpet, on the ceiling and inside door panels to help with noise reduction. Tons of new parts (too long to list) purchased from LMC truck. Still have a bunch that need to go on the truck once body work and interior is complete. Obviously, from the pictures you can see the truck does need the body work and paint completed. I have a new rear left cab corner, replacement panel for the right bed panel. I have a new rear roll pan to replace rear bumper. I have all the door and window rubbers as well. Truck needs the glass replaced. You can find every part or piece for this truck through LMC. Would make a really cool truck once body work and paint are complete. I have hundreds of pictures from the tear down and rebuild process. I have most all receipts from purchases made for truck.
