Description

It is with heavy heart that I am listing my 1956 Ford F-100 Custom Cab Longbed (Express Model) pickup truck. It is a stock, beautifully preserved preserved truck that has spent its entire life in the Pacific Northwest. The only parts that aren't stock are the tasteful upgrades I've made, which include: front disc brake conversion kit, power brake booster and dual chamber master cylinder. I've also rebuilt the front end (new king pins and tie rods, bushings, and shocks. I have also recently did a complete rebuild of the rear brakes. It's solid, with virtually zero rust. It has all original sheet metal, and even still has the original paint in the wheel wells! Under the hood, it has what are believed to be factory assembly line markings and writing. Being that it is a factory original 1/2 ton Longbed (of which, being that it was the first year they made them, they were made in limited numbers), makes it unusual, and stand out among the rest. Of all the '56 F-100's I've seen this is the most heavily optioned one I know of. It has the factory original 272 Y-Block V8 and 4-Speed manual transmission, factory Custom Cab, factory 2-tone paint, factory side-mount spare, and of course, factory Longbed. It also has what I believe are original dealer optioned RV mirrors and rear bumper.
The truck runs, drives, and stops great. I have been using it as my daily driver for well over a year now. It starts easily, drives down the road straight, shifts through the gears easily, virtually zero play in the steering wheel, and, all things considered, a relatively comfortable ride. (I apologize if the photos are a little grainy. I had to lower the quality to more easily upload them.)
If you have any questions, would like to take a look at the truck, would like more photos, or would like to make an offer, feel free to send me a message!

The truck is being sold As/Is with no warranty implied or stated. It is listed locally, and I reserve the right to end the listing early or to cancel a sale if the truck has already sold. I will NOT cancel any sale where we have agreed on a price, or when the buy-it-now has been selected, due to me changing my mind or not liking the price. If the truck has not yet sold, and an agreement has been made, I will follow through with the agreement and not back out.
