1964 Ford Galaxie 500 XL Pro Street!!
Description
Up for sale is my very nice and custom Galaxie 500 XL. This car is very custom, it does not have your usual FE motor, instead it has a mild 460 with a C6 trans. This car is custom from front to back, I will do my best to name all the custom parts on the car. The car isn't perfect, but for a 54 year old car it sure is in good shape.
Engine: It was just recently resealed completely, all felpro and moroso gaskets used, new freeze plugs, stock bottom end, thumper cam, double roller chain, new water pump and t-stat, nice aluminum intake, all msd ignition system, 850 Holley double pumper, nice aluminum radiator, custom long tube headers, thrush mufflers, sounds mean!!!! The motor has great oil pressure, car runs around 190 degrees, has 1 mechanical and 1 electric fan to cool it, new Holley electric fuel pump
Trans: Condition inside is unknown but fluid is very clean and it shifts great. It has an external cooler and a sweet B&M shifter.
Rear End: Completely rebuilt 9 inch, has strange center section, gears, bearings, and hardware in it. 3:70 ratio, 31 spline mossier axles. Has leaf springs with ladder bars, new rear shocks
Tires: New front and back, Mickey Thompson rear tires are 31x16.50xR15 and fronts are M/T race tires 26x4.5xR15
Brakes: Front disc with linelock, rear drum with new wheel cylinders, new master cylinder
Misc: 2 new Interstate gel batteries, sweet fuel cell, On/Off switch in rear of car, new 1 wire alternator
Body: Fiberglass tear drop hood, bumpers and front inner fenderwells, paint job is newer and very clean, but not perfect, no rust anywhere that I could find. Car has been rewired correctly using fuse block and relays, all lights work, completely street legal
Interior: Very clean, all factory gauges unhooked, has gauge pod with aftermarket tach that work great, aftermarket stereo sounds good
All in all, my car is awesome and gets compliments everywhere I drive it, I'm sure I'm leaving out a few things, for any additional pictures or info, feel free to contact me at 714 three three six 8393. The car is always garaged, has been a original Nevada and California car its entire life.
