Description

Up for sale is a 1970 Mach 1 project. This is not a project for the faint of heart.

It is a trueH code Mach 1 with the number matching 351 C 2bbl engine. The C-6 trans is not a number match to the car. I have not looked up the code on the rear end. The car does have the shaker hood option, fold down back seat, and rear window louvers. I acquired the car as is and after having it sit untouchedin my shop for over 2 years finally had to admit I simply do not have the time for it.

The car originally came from Wisconsin and has a lot of rust that is going to need repaired. The previous owner started dis-assembly and has performed some work on the car.He also started accumulating parts for the project. The car at a minimum will need quarters, inner fenders, floor pans, frame rails and extensions, tail panel, rockers. The front fenders are notbeyond repair, but there are replacements in the new sheet metal. The shock towersneeds repair. The engine was sent to machine shop and has been assembled. I would recommend tearing the engine back down and cleaning and re-assembling.

I have tried to get as many pics as I could of the rust, but it needs to be seen in person. The rear quarters have been replaced at some point in the past and pretty poor job was done then.Almost all of the parts on the shelves in the last 2 pics go with the car. The 2 inner fenders on the top left side of shelf do not go but everything else on the shelves do go. Thereare a lot of new parts, some of which I personally would not use. It looks like most of the new sheet metal that has been bought came from CJs Mustang supply and is Taiwan manufactured. There are multiple other misc pieces. I do not have a complete list yet. There is a new gas tank sitting in place in the car, but would have to come out for the repairs that need made.

I have a clean and clear Texas title in my name in hand.

It is located 60 miles east of Amarillo, Texas and arrangements can be made to see the car any evening or weekend.

I expect a $500 deposit via pay pal in 24 hours of auction end and arrangements made to get the car in a reasonable time frame. Balance to be paid in full, in cash, prior to removal of the car.

Please ask any and all questions prior to auction end and I will do my best to get answers ASAP.

Thanks for looking.
