Description

With regret I offer my very nice short wheel base survivor. Built from a southern Kentucky highway truck, very solid no patch panels, or body damage, only rust I can see is in core support.Bed is rare short version from southern Missouri, again very straight exterior, metal floor was extremely rusty, so it was replaced with oak. Would not be hard to go back to steel floor.Body has been refinished in a factory teal. Paint job is awesome and makes truck outstanding. Motor is a Jasper remanufactured it is a 250 cu in .30 over.Very strong and torquey New clutch and pressure plate.Later model disc brake front end makes it stop very nice.I was told it has new dropped I beams and from inspection the supension looks almost new. Original 9" rear end is super strong and reliable. New windshield and all new rubbers front and back, new weatherstrip and glass runs. New front bumper and rare used rear bumper, many new parts.Tailgate is very straight. Later model ford truck aluminum wheels. Front tires are very good, rears are ok. Interior is nice with original seat a cover, rugs are ok but not nice, interior has been repainted in teal with optional panel inerts. This is a very nice truck with tons of money and time invested. My health and age prohibits me from wrapping up several small things to wrap things up.Before painting truck was a daily driver and ran and drove very well, tracked straight and no major issues.Have been putting back together for several years, but health has slowed me down.Tons more than starting price invested. But I simply want someone to enjoy this fabulus truck. What I know needs to be done is interior dash lights dont work gauges need hooked up. all exterior lights, turn signal horn work. wipers work as does heater.doors need adjusting after installation of new weatherstripping, will try to do this week. Needs headliner, but they are cheap and easy to install. Rear taigate handle needs repair.Again very minor. I have tried to be totally honest and disclose to best of my ability its condition. Naturally it is sold as is where is, with no warranty.Would like truck to go to individual who would appreciate this fine survivor.Truck is being sold with very low starting price with no reserve.I realize truck is worth much more, but I simply want it to go to someone who will appreciate it. I reserve the right to end auction at any time, and resrve the right to accept reasonable offer Truck is at my residence just outside of St. Louis, MO. I will assist you and your shipper if needed. Please ask questions, and if you are going to bid, stand behind your commitment.I have just added pics of interior and of floors, floor are pristine rust free and uncut a rarity for a truck of this age. Also I forgot to mention there is a new copper radiator.Hope this gets everyone caught up.This trucks starting point is way below market.
