Description 1929 Ford Model A Roadster Listed on behalf of Monte Shelton
Located in PORTLAND, OREGON.
This 1929 Ford Model A Roadster was fully restored about 15 years ago and everything was done to make it a great looking and running car.
All-steel body was stripped and repainted in a combination of orange and chocolate brown. Shows beautifully with a deep shine. Recently fully wet-sanded, polished and detailed. During the restoration the car was reupholstered in chocolate brown leatherette. All chrome was re-plated. Added accessories include radiator stone guard, Motometer radiator cap, running board step plates, trunk rack with fitted trunk. Wing windows. No side curtains. Replaced Haartz cloth top raises and lowers easily by one person. Rumble seat is fully refinished. Undercarriage is clean and rust free. PLEASE SEE PHOTOS.
Mechanically, this A scores an "A". Rebuilt original 4 cylinder engine. Runs smooth and strong with plenty of power. 3-speed transmission shifts crisply. Freshly tuned-up and ready to drive anywhere. Very clean under the hood. 4-wheel mechanical brakes stop smooth and straight. A real pleasure to drive and gets attention wherever it goes. 7,915 miles showing is believed to be mileage since restoration.
There is little to add. If you are looking for a Model A Roadster for club events and tours, or just fun cruising, this is a great one!
A realistic reserve has been placed on this car, in keeping with its quality. It could not be restored to this level today for the reserve price. Please bid accordingly.
