Up for sale 1971 Ford Gran Torino GT. w/108,000 miles. 302 V8 runs great, but will need a tune up. I bought this car out of Wisconsin in 2016. Car sat in storage for many years. It is a true survivor car with original paint and decals. I drained the tank put fresh gas in, and it fired up and runs with a nice steady idle. The transmission wouldn't shift into gear, so I took it to a professional transmission shop, and they did a full rebuild, so it comes with paperwork and warranty. I just got the car back from the shop and took video of it running and driving up, and down the street(see links above). I would say the car is in excellent condition for never being restored. The under-body of the car is in excellent condition. Solid floor pans, and trunk. Only rust I can see is coming out of the wheel well, and little on the rear bumper as seen in pictures. The original paint of the car is dry, and oxidized, and will need repainted. Breaks are soft and will need bleed, but the car does stop. Will need headlight and tail-light bulbs replaced.Interior is in good condition, but does have some small rips in the head liner, dash pad is cracked and will need replaced. All in all for a 47 year old car its pretty damn solid automobile, and it's great start for a restoration, or with a little TLC you can drive it the way it is this summer. Feel free to ask any questions, GOOD LUCK BIDDING!!!
