1957 Ford Thunderbird 2 Door Hardtop w/Removable, E Model 270hp V8 with an automatic transmission and 155,000 miles.

The original owner of this T-Bird was a test pilot for an aircraft manufacturer. He wanted a T-Bird with more power than was available in the standard-Bird 245 HP model. He therefore ordered this rare E-Code T-Bird which boosted the HP to 285. This increase in power was obtained by use of Fords Racing Engine that features twin 4bbl carbs. I became the second owner in 1968 and have owned it for 48 years and counting. During those years I made many improvement changes as they became available. This car has been consistently maintained sine 1968 and is now for sale, and offered on an as is basis because the owner can no longer drive or use the car on the open road. This car has been preserved over the past three years in a heated garage, and although this car is in need of some repair, it still looks and runs great. This T-Bird engine was overhauled at 85,000 miles, exterior repainted with urethane, and interior reupholstered in 1992.
