FOR SALE IS A BEAUTIFUL 1966 FAIRLANE GTA CONVERTABLE WITH FACTORY AIR AND A GOOD AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. I AM SELLING THIS CAR FOR A FRIEND WHO DOESN'T HAVE A COMPUTER. HE HAS OWNED THIS CAR SINCE FEB. 2006. THE CAR IS IN GREAT CONDITION WITH A NEW TOP AND GOOD TIRES, NEW 4 PISTON FRONT CALIPERS AND NEW BRAKE LINES. THE CARPET IS GOOD BUT THERE IS NEW CARPET STILL IN THE BOX AND A NEW BOOT COVER FOR THE TOP. THE CHROME HAS NOT BEEN INSTALLED AROUND THE BOTTOM OF THE TOP BUT IS IN THE TRUNK AND HAS BEEN NEWLY CHROMED. ONLY VISABLE DEFECTS ARE A SMALL 3" TEAR IN THE BOTTOM OF THE REAR SEAT AND SOME STAINING NEAR THE TEAR. THE TOP WORKS AS IT SHOULD. THE CAR HAS A GOOD SOUND WITH HEADERS AND GOOD EXHAUST. I AM SELLING THIS CAR FOR A FRIEND SO IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS PLEASE ALLOW ENOUGH TIME FOR ME TO GET YOU AN ANSWER. WE EXPECT A $500.00 DOLLAR DEPOSIT WITHIN 24 HOURS AND THE REST IN CASH WHEN IT IS PICKED UP. When I checked the air conditioner today I did notice that the intake and carb had been changed to an aluminum intake and edelbrock carb also the radiator is aluminum. The air cond. system is complete but does not engage I think it is low of Freon from sitting it appears to still be for the original r12 Freon. the vin numbers on the title are 6H445S1----- which should be correct for a GTA convertible made in Ohio. Just wanted to make everything is as correct as I can make it as I do not own the car.
