262 INLINE 6, 4 SPEED, STRAIGHT BODY, GREAT DRIVING SUVIVOR, VALUE PRICED F-250!

You gotta get excited about a an affordable long bed, heavy duty classic pickup that has spent over half a century as a workhorse, and it's still eager to get out there and pull its weight today. This 1964 Ford F-250 is such a true lesson in honest endurance that it's even still on its original motor.
Take a look at that Skylight Blue paintwork. It might not be the freshest you've ever seen, and that's what's going to attract all sorts of attention. People will wonder if you're driving a barn find. It's the kind interest you couldn't generate with a pickup that cost four times as much! This truck was about going to work, that's why it's a heavy duty F-250 with the long bed and upgraded hauling capacity. So you won't find much chrome here beyond the original "Custom Cab" door handles. But that's actually is an advantage. The white bumper, wheels, and F-O-R-D on the tailgate complement the light blue paint quite nicely on this very straight, very honest pickup.
The colors of the exterior continue inside. All the correct details are in place, from the zipper pouch in the driver's door, to the streak of white that runs across the dash. The blue cloth seat cover is over the original vinyl bench and is a nice upgrade in comfort without losing any of the period correct-feeling. The proper instruments are still in place, and we even suspect the speedometer is a period-correct replacement by how clear it is. But for you the true thrill is the classic mechanical feeling of grabbing the original Ford steering wheel and rowing your way through the tall floor-mounted stick shift. The total experience will make even trips to the supermarket feel like you're out in the fields on a hay run.
Under the hood is a 262 cubic-inch inline six. Those who know Fords recognize this as their choice for heavy-duty usage in the early 60s. It's an important powerplant that are rarely seen anymore. That's why we're so happy to see that this is a correct date-coded motor that we believe is original. In fact, with fresh paint on the block, a newer radiator, and good belts & hoses, this one shows signs that it has been treated with the respect it deserves. Good maintenance also means you can get into the pickup, fire it right up, and use it as a genuine tool when you want. Plus, the four-speed manual transmission is a great original package upgrade that is geared to keep up with traffic. So this Ford is still ready to eat up the road miles and get to work. It even sits on modern Goodyear Integrity tires, so you can still get good grip no matter the weather.
This F-250 has been going to work for over 50 years, and it's nowhere near ready for retirement. This can be an excellent restoration candidate, but just as it is, there will be crowds at the car show amazed at just how great this survivor wears its history. Will you be the one to write the next chapter? Call today!!!
