This is a 1955 Ford T Bird. Purchased by me in 1991. I had it striped and it sat In a bag till about 2003/4 It has a 31, rebuilt engine /W correct manifold and 312 Distributor, There is Crown Vic trim added to the car. The Large Hard top window was built on to a regular standard 1955 hard top. You can SEE out of this. Until copied by other, this is the only one known to exist. The 56/57 type soft top is about two years old, and was never put down. It does not fit very well behind the seat.The carhas been fully restored, Body off, starting about 2004. Every component on the car was rebuilt or refurbished at the time .From the rear diff to all the front end components. The total undercarriage is dusty but very cleanable, all Parts were powder coated. ( I can no longer get under to wipe) Electronic Ignition. There are Disk brake, front only, W/ dual master cyl. The Three Speed Transmission was rebuilt as was the control can. There is a Rebuilt 56/57 Steering column along with a new Small Steering wheel. New Drive shaft. There is Power steering. The interior is ALL REAL Leather, including the DASH. The car has Totally all new WIRING . Power seats and windows. Although not shown, there are two perfect Fender skirts with the car. I am still running 6 Volt Batt power. I drive this car, Ft Myers FL to Branson Missouri in 2016, MA to Ohio in 2014, all to CTCI conventions. In other words it is Not A Trailer Queen. I have installed other 1956/57 things such as Wing windows, Sun Visors, Door latche, fender Apron Shields. The Air Ducks are all Solid. No Rot.(Powder coated. ) Some tender loving care is needed, nothing drastic. I have great amounts of documentation of all Monies spent. I Really enjoy the ca, but due to health reasons I Sadly mush sell. Note This car coult sell without soft top at $61,000.00
