Decided to sell my 1992 Ford Mustang 5.0 LX Hatchback. HAS ONLY 90,000 ORIGINAL MILES. Equipped with the AOD transmission, cruise, pw, pl, pwr hatch, am/fm cassette radio with equalizer, upgraded cloth seats, sunroof and cold a/c. Basically, it is fully loaded minus leather seats and factory CD player. Car is black on black. I rate the exterior a 6 or 7/10 due to original paint and it still shines real nice but since it is black, it does have some scratches and checking. Interior I would rate a 8 or 9/10. No rips in the seats or carpet. I cant say enough how original this car is. This car is also equipped with the E code for the 3.27 rear gears.
This car is unmolested and I am the 3rd owner. It is originally from Oregon. Transmission has been rebuilt. Recently I gave it a tune up and removed the factory original spark plugs, plug wires and cap and rotor. Used a brass cap and rotor, Motorsport plug wires and Autolite dual platinum plugs. I also installed a new cooling system to make sure it is ready for the Arizona summer and since it was all original as well. New aluminum radiator, new Ford Waterpump, new silicon radiator hoses etc etc. I have kept all original parts as well with the 1992 date codes on everything. I have also replaced the drip rail mouldings as well as the belt mouldings on the upper part of the doors. Serpentine belt is new as is the rubber for the sunroof. Tires are in excellent shape. I did add the Stainless Steel Flowmaster catback due to a cheap aftermarket muffler and tail pipe replacement somewhere in its life.
Minus the exhaust, this car is about as unmolested that you ever find these days. Most FOX Bodies have been molested and beat the death by now. Very few virgins remain. This car is very nice example of a Survivor of a 1992 5.0 Fox body Mustang.
