1932 Ford Coupe survivor drag car built 1963 hot rod sbc channeled unchopped v8
Description
FORGOT TO MENTION I HAVE LARGE COLLECTION OF RECEIPTS FOR THE CAR FROM THE EARLY 1960s, ALSO A SMALL GROUP OF PHOTOS OF THE CAR DATED 1963 The car needs work I have had many questions about trades, not interested at this time, also not interested in separating the car and its parts. Car can stay here for 6 months after listing ends.
Up for sale unfortunately for me is this incredible 1932 ford survivor drag coupe. I bought this through a friend of the original owner. It was built in 1963 it was originally a 327 vette motor with the dual quad setup the motor blew up and the guy had this in his barn so he threw it in. No idea of condition other than its frozen, not sure how bad but it would be an easily replaceable motor. old corvette dual quad intake with old carbs not sure what the carbs are off of they are partially dismantled. Trans has no linkages and the bracket to hold a shifter isn’t present, the trans is t10 with a Chevy bow tie on it... not sure if that means anything I’m an early ford guy and pretty ignorant to everything else. The car had old mag wheels on it when I got it that he put on in 1968 I was able to locate correct wheels for the fronts and the rear wheels just fit the ticket not sure what they’re off of. New tires towel slicks, 15” wheels. Windshield is cracked, window regulators are gone, the windows were just held in the up position, regulators can easily be put in. No rear glass either, no garnish mouldings, the guy said he never had any. There is a crack in rear pan see pics, headliner is hanging down by pass side windshield, no door handles, driver side door where handle goes is slightly dented in, The z bar setup is missing to engage the clutch, the battery was originally by pass feet but moved to rear of car for weight, there was a weight box on the back underside of car behind rear end the brackets for that are mostly torched off but need to be cleaned up a little, the car was built in 1963 using 1963 ingenuity so with that being said it’s an old hot rod, it needs to be gone through and things need to be replaced or improved. Sold as is not running no warranty for parts or repair, I will work with buyers on shipping to help do anything I can in my part.
