GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present for your consideration this 1929 Ford Model A Speedster. If you're looking for a fun, sporty and inexpensive collector car that will demand attention and leave smile on your face then look no further. This stripped down Model A leaves nothing but a seat and the running gear between you and the open road. Lay a white -knuckle grip on the steering wheel and let the adrenaline flow, just as many thrill seekers... did in the 1920's and 30's. Back in the late 1920's there wasn't a whole lot of options to making a car go faster, other than making it lighter. This car is a blast to drive and is quite quick for a Model A. The car was upgraded to a 12 volt system. It features a 6:1 high compression head and a brand new aluminum cam and timing gear. The brakes were upgraded to hydraulic brakes, with front brakes off of a 1939 Lincoln. The carburetor was upgraded to a downdraft 2 barrel and really makes a difference in performance. The Model A also has a 2 piece tonneau cover that was made for it. Parts for these cars are readily available and don't break the bank to maintain. Model A's have been on a slow and steady incline in value. Snatch this one up before it's too late.
