Description
1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1.
VIN#0F05H185530
351 cleveland engine, 4-barrel carburator, 4-speed transmission.
rare, trim/color code (see marti report).
painted yellow/black in late 80s/early 90s.
sort of a barn-find, as it was parked and probably last registered in the late 90s.
previous owner put a lot of money into the engine, as it was rebuilt by a reputable, local shoo (Burt's, colorado springs) that is no longer in biz. adding hydraulic lifters, cams, it was balances, chromed, etc.
i have most of the receipts.
has a lot of cool period, customizations that make it a attention-grabber, including the paint job, custom race-setup, dual exhast plus chrome tips, racing lights under gas tank and under hood, rare wheels and removable moon/sun-roof.
its a blast to ride as is, or restore it back to original trim/color code and seel it for $100K!
it is fast and loud. the 4-speed transmission is a blast to ride. it has a 4 barrel carburator that may have been added at some point. the vin# reflects an H-code 351C with 2 barrel carb and a 3-speed transmission.
when i bought it, i replaced 3 bad cylinders and re-machined the heads ($2,800 in receipts) and it now runs like a bat out of hell.
just bought some nice floor mats and truck carpet with poney logo that are included.
i buy, restore and sometimes sell parts of my auto/moto colllection.
buy it before i change my mind!
questions?/want more photos? just ask (text, 415-297-1312, email, chrislmitchell@gmail.com).
i am advertising locally, so i reserve the right to end the auction at any time.
no reserve auction, starting at $0.99!
thanks,mitch

On Mar-21-18 at 10:24:51 PDT, seller added the following information:fyi: info above is from 2nd owner, not original owner, he got in early 80's painted it and rebuilt it.
more info on the 4-speed and 4v carb...
'borg warner t-10' and was in the car when he got it.
the linkage is on the side but its considered a 'top loader.'
as far as the carb goes, it had a 'weiand' intake when 2nd owner got it, he changed it to current edelbrock and put the correct holly 780 cfm carb on it. he had the polisher grind the edelbrock emblem and all the numbers off the intake because he thought it looked tacky.
