1967 Ford Thunderbird 2 Door Hardtop 390 V8 C6 Automatic Transmission.
I’m selling my 1967 Thunderbird. The car runs and drives great for it’s age. The exterior is in really good shape with no large dents or visible/known rust (it was not an original Minnesota car). It has been repainted in the past, but I don’t know when. The paint cleans up really nice though. The interior is in great shape with no tears in the seats or cracks in the dash. I had a Marti report run on the car and it was 1 of 89 built like it. It was originally a Raven Black with white interior.
It was sold to me with wat was believed to be around 83,000 miles.I can’t confirm that, and the speedo was not working when I got the car.If that is not accurate, I don’t believe it has many more miles than that on it.
I’ve done a lot to make the car better than when I purchased it, but I now have too many projects and life events going and just want to find a good home for the car.
Work I’ve done on the Car:
Transmission Rebuilt in 2017
New Power Steering Pump 2017
Complete Service 2017
Replaced Rear Seat, Door Panels, Interior Trim Panels (originals were white but had been painted blackish by previous owner).
Replaced Dash Pad (original was cracked).
Repaired or Replaced many of the interior component with better quality that originals.
Got all lights and interior accessories pretty much in working order (including the clock!).
Replaced the Steering Gear (still have the original).
I have many new and used parts for the car, including:
Front End Suspension Rebuild Kit w/pitman arm
Complete from grill and headlight covers (mine was painted when I got the car)
Complete Rear Taillight Assembly (in a little better shape than the one that’s on the car)
Original Rear Seat (I replaced with a used factory black rear sear – the original was white but had been painted black)
Original Door Panels (the originals were white but had been painted black)
Several instrument Cluster pieces (I actually have pretty much complete replacement).
Original Radio and Radio Bezel (the original bezel was cut for modern single din CD player).
Also comes with:
Re-printed Original Service Manual
Owners Manual
Built sheet. (found under Rear Seat)
Marti Report
