1964 Ford Galaxie 500 2 door Fastback

Posting this listing for a 50+ year friend of mine that does cars but not computers. I spotted the car for him when he bought it in March 2007 at the Mustang & Ford Show in Pensacola, Fl. Car had one repaint that's still in great shape with a few knicks and never been wrecked. No bondo, no rust and no replaced panels. Paint is probably a 7 on a scale of 1 to 10 and looks great as seen in the pictures. It was originally a 352 which has been replaced with a 390 long block in March 2008. Engine has 270 Comp Cam kit, 2 Edelbrock4 barrel carbs on aluminum intake with 427 fuel log, billet distributor and flame thrower coil, one wire GM alternator, 7 qt. oil pan, big tube headers, Flowmaster mufflers, 4 core radiator, rebuilt trans with new converter in August 2012, new 3:50 single track rear gears, 4 new Jegsmag wheels, new inner tie rods, idle arm bushing and drag link, new front coil springs. Replaced lower A arms with 427 kit bolts and bushings. New door seals, upper vent bar channel seals, front vent window seals. Replaced all 4 drums brakes with 4 wheel disc brakes with power booster. Interior is all original but needs a headliner. Car may have 3000 miles on it going to car shows and cruise in's.. Have most all the receipts and many more small parts go with it including fender skirts. A $500 deposit will be required and balance paid in cash at time of pickup. Car is located in Mobile, Al.
