68 Ford Mustang Fastback. Rare color
Description
This car is a very solid project car, rare color combination. The previous owner changed the engine in the car, installed new radiator, starter, headers. The engine does run. The transmission does not work, I was told it may have a problem with the converter. I have bought and sold and restored 67 and 8 mustangs for almost 40 years and if you are interested in a good fastback project this is a good one. The best thing for you to do is look over the pictures and call me on the phone so I can give you a more complete description of this car. I will tell you all about the good and bad about the car. The best thing about this car is it is all together mostly. The torque boxes and frame rails are solid as well as the frame rails and trunk floors. The car needs floor pans and a right front inner fender. It needs some work on the right qtr. panel and will need a trunk lid. The left front inner fender may need replaced or at least dollied out better. It has had a radiator support installed at some point and both fenders and front splash pan were replaced with Ford parts. The seats are out of a 69 GT car I think. The painted GT wheels are in good shape but the caps and rings need some work. Like I said the best thing to do if you are interested and are a serious buyer is call me and I can tell you all about the car and the history that I know. The folks I bought the car from had owned it I think since back in the seventy's. The car is for sale locally. If you have low transactions or feedback call before you bid please. I require a $1,500.00 non refundable deposit within 48 hours of auction end and full payment within 7 days of the end of auction. I do not share my reserve price. Most auctions end early. I do not have a buy it now price. If you want to purchase the car early you will have to call and discuss offers with me. Once the reserve is met I will not end the auction early. The reserve is lower than you might think. If you have questions or need more pictures please call before you bid. This vehicle is sold as is. Thanks Roy Grubb. 423-276-5334.
