Description

This truck started as a beautifully restored 1940 ford pickup. Keeping with the original appearance outside, it was decided that the underside receive an upgrade. The truck was taken to Webb Automotive Art in Burton, Mi where a mint original frame was located and the chassis work began. Dan Webb added a 4" drop tube axle with a poise spring up front but retained the stock wishbones and added disc brakes. A 9" ford rear end with 3.25:1 gear was added with hairpin radius rods and tube shocks and a poise dropped rear spring. He then added all new crossmemebers and mounts for a small block ford engine and transmission. After the chassis was complete the truck was taken to Roush racing where a Roush prepped 302 ci crate engine was installed with a c4 automatic transmission. While at Roush all new brake lines, hoses, and a new master cylinder were installed and a power steering unit was installed. They added all new exhaust and classic instruments stock 40 ford gauges. The paint and upholstery are in excellent show quality condition. The truck has approx 500 miles since completion. Please message Chris for any further information or additional photos.
