1966 SHELBY GT350 R 289 HIGH PERFORMANE 5 SPEEDSEE VIDEO BELOW
Very Strong running 1966 Shelby GT350 R Coupe tribute, factory C code Mustang Coupe. the 289 V-8 was rebuilt and pumped up with a race camshaft, aluminum intake, Holley 600cfm, MSD ignition, longtube headers, tied to single chamber flowmaster style mufflers, backed up by a World Class 5 speed with a factory appearing shifter, tied to a 9" posi-trac rear. This car is an older restoration that has had many new parts over the last few years. It was given the Shelby GT350 R appearance with the front R valance, shelby side scoops, shelby hood scoop, the paint was done in viper blue with white stripes, it has 17" Shelby American wheels with the cobra strike center caps wrapped in new Z rated tires. Since I've owned it, it has received many new parts: new Holley carb, new aluminum radiator, new plugs, new wires, new air cleaner, new valve covers, new bumpers, new carpet, new belts, new hoses, all new fluids and filters, new brakes, new brake hardware, new alignment, new bulbs, new wiring replaced where needed, new wooden wheel, new exhaust, new single chamber mufflers, and more. I have been driving it daily and it has loads of power. The paint job is not of show quality as it shows touch ups and blemishes throughout see pics. It has standard black interior with no rips or tears. All door locks and windows function as they should. The headliner is new, but is a little loose fitting as shown in pics. Mechanically, the car is very strong and will roast the tires thru the gears. It Looks great and grabs all the attention at cruise-ins and where ever you drive it.. This is not a perfect show car, but I'm not asking show car money either. My asking price is well fitted to the car and it leaves plenty of room for you to enjoy it or take it to the next level.. It cruises down the highway straight and smooth with no performance issues. Turn key and drive.
