1953 Ford F-100 Rat Rod Primer 1954 1955 1956

Description

1953 Ford F100, that has been wired, runs and drives, and rust free. The F100 has been mounted to a Camaro sub frame (1980-1981) with a 350 Chevrolet motor (late model). The Camaro sub frame has been rebuilt rotors/calipers, and has new upper & lower ball joints. Chevrolet tilt steering installed, along with all new brake lines, new rear brake drums and wheel cylinders with disc brakes. Drive shaft has been rebuilt and balanced. Rear end has been installed above the rear spring versus underneath. The rear end is believed to be from a Chevelle large tube open, I'm unsure of the gear ratio. Brakes and gas feed pedals are from a 1986 Monte Carlo (swinging pedal & booster). Carburetor has been rebuilt with a brass float. Exhaust Running boards were moved out 2" at the rear to match the wider rear fiberglass fenders. Areas of normal rust on this particular model of pickup has been removed and has been replacedwith new replacement sheet metal.
Other new items installed on the F100 include: bed strips, wider fiber glass rear fenders, electric fuel pump, 3 core radiator (aluminum), welded new cab corners/rockers/cowls, Larry's electric wiring panel, sending unit for gas to tank, motor mounts (Camaro), hose for power steering pump, distributor, seats from a 2014 Ford Focus. Does have the front and rear glass, doors and hood are currently off of the truck, doors and hood are included with the purchase.
