Real Henry Ford's steel rare unshopped 3-windows. All Ford except real Buick big fin drum brakes. Functional cowl hood vent, front windshield and rear window. All real leather interior. Factory door hinges and handles.
No rust and no patch on this 84 years old original Henry Ford steel body!
The steel dash and all the windows mouldings are chromed in the pure traditional nostalgia style.
In the interior the red leather expertly crafted to seamlessly flow throughout the entire cabin including the headliner.
The frame is fully boxed with a perimeter X-member and fitted with a rear triangulated 4-link bar system, adjustable coil-over shocks and an anti-sway bar.
A Vintage Chassis Works front straight axle is fitted with a Unisteer rack and pinion steering system, a pan-hard bar and a So-Cal steering stabilizer.
Under the hood lies a vintage Ford 429 big block engine recently overhauled will all the best and a very nice sounding cam with a great rumpity rump idle. The output of this engine was rated on dyno at 420 h.p. and 480 lb. ft. of torque.
All is kept cool by a genuine Walker cooper radiator.
Putting the power to the ground is a robust Ford C6 tranny recently overhauled with all the best and a new 2500 stall converter.
In the 9'' rear end a posi-traction unit and a 2.75 gear ratio set-up was installed for a relaxing 1900 rpm at 60 mph.
The fuel tank is all steel measuring 16-gallons.
Braking is performed by vintage Buick big fin drums fitted with Watson Welding and Machine hubs and ’39 Lincoln backing plate and brakes.
The entire vehicle was fully rewired using a Ron Francis fuse panel and harnesses.
All the paint-striping was done by hand by a renowned old school paint-striper.
Further features and accessories include a complete Stewart Warner Eagle series gauges, Lokar shifter, cowl lights with built in flasher, halo-gene headlights, vintage Philco-Ford radio, Cobra seatbelts, rare Cobra 429 Aluminum valve covers. Sanderson ceramic headers. Are include the two louvered side panels hood.
New whitewall BFGoodrich tires on the four corners.
