1949 Ford F-6 COE that will make a great project truck. Anyone with more questions or anyone who wants to see the truck in person can call me at 620-786-4428. This truck is not running and will need to be trailered. This truck is only missing a few small pieces and will make a great project. The wheelbase on this truck is about 156". I do have paperwork for this truck. This truck is advertised locally and I do reserve the right to end the auction if it sells.
Body - The body on this truck looks really good for its age. It has a few small issues, but nothing real serious for its age. The battery cover is missing and it is rusted out where the battery sits at the running board and R. fender. The R inner fender well has been cut out and welded back in, apparently to gain access at some point in the trucks like. There is some rust in the cab corners that will need repaired. I have tried to include pics of all of these areas. The L fender and running board still look good with only minor rust damage. The original step is still on the L side. Both original cab handles are still intact. The doors both look good and still fit the cab nicely. The grill looks good. The hood has a couple of small rust holes, but nothing real serious. The hood still has the all of the trim. The floors are solid with no large rust holes. The roof has some typical dents, but nothing real bad.
Interior - The interior is pretty much complete. Both seats appear to be original. The dash is intact and not cut up. The front floor cover does look like it may have been modified. some. Both of the original inside door panels are there, but one of them is bent and will need straightened.
Drivetrain - This truck is not currently running. Everything under the hood appears to be intact. The truck has a flat head 6 cylinder in it. The truck does roll fine and will load easily. One of the rear duals is off for transport, but I do have the wheel and it is included with the truck. There does not appear to be any damage to the frame or drivetrain.
Overall, this will make a great project truck. A $500.00 deposit is due within 5 days after the end of the auction. NO PAYPAL. Balance is due before the truck leaves or in cash when it is picked up. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and arrangements. I can put interested buyers in contact with some shippers I use. Buyer has 60 days of free outside storage at the buyers risk.
