Description

I purchased this little 1936 Ford over forty three years ago. I fell in love with her curves and style. She had an all steel body. The many coats of paint had preserved her body. When totally striped down, very little body work was needed to bring her back. For the first 21 years I kept the original power train. But that limited my expressway driving. I decided in 1994 to do a total off frame restoration and put a little more zip in her step. I had the V-8.. 85 HP engine rebuilt, bored .30 over. Added the Offenhauser Heads and Fenton Headers, put on a Three Duce set up and total Stainless Steel dual exhaust. Put in a Ford Granada rear end and a C-4 Automatic Transmission. I also added the Rack & Pinion Steering and Power Disk Brakes. This allowed me to cruise up and down the highway at 70mph with no problem and felt a lot safer while doing it.

Well I'm 43 years older now. At age 67 I just don't get her out as often as I use to. Somebody, somewhere can show her the attention she deserves. She has been garaged and never seen water. Except an occasional sprinkle. The paint is as clear and as deep shining as it was in 1994. I have driven her an average of 750 miles per year. Current millage is 16,360 miles. I have the finished side hood covers but never used them. People would always want to see the engine so I drive with them off. Don't let the color on the pictures throw you off. The paint is a Tri-Color Pearl and changes color depending on the lighting……

After a lot of sole searching I just feel that it is time to let someone else carry her into the next phase of her life and enjoy her the way I have. She stands tall, shows well, runs great. She has never had to be towed home in the past 43 years. I would feel comfortable jumping in her today and driving to Florida or California. That is if I felt up to driving that far. I really feel that she would hold up better than me. So here are her highlights:
