Description

FOR SALE:

1951 Ford F-1

This truck is the product of a recent, well-documented nut and bolt restoration effort. The truck boasts an abundance of new parts and numerous examples of professional workmanship. There is not one area of the truck that was not tended during the restoration process.

The truck is powered by a 239 cubic-inch flathead V8. The motor was completely rebuilt and equipped with an Isky Max 1 cam, long tube headers, Offenhauser heads, an Offenhauser 4 bbl intake manifold, a Holley 390 cfm carburetor, among numerous other new components. The motor is fed by a new fuel delivery system that includes a fuel tank mounted under the bed.

The truck’s flathead V8 is paired to a 3-speed on-the-column manual transmission that was also completely rebuilt. This transmission was gifted with a new clutch pressure plate, a new flywheel, a new synchronizer assembly, along with numerous other new components.

The truck has logged less than 500 miles since its completion.

The exterior of the truck shows great with a metallic green hue. The exterior of the truck is accented by numerous new trim pieces including door handles, headlight bezels, hood vents, window trim, and chrome front and rear bumpers.

The bed of the truck features new Oak boards and stainless steel rails.

The truck’s cab is home to high-quality tinted glass. Again, this is tinted glass and not film tint.

The truck’s solid frame has been powder coated.

The truck rides great thanks to an entirely new suspension system.

The truck is equipped with front disc brakes.

The truck rolls smoothly on new, custom-drilled 18-inch American Racing wheels. The wheels are polished-aluminum and are wrapped in new Nexen tires. The front tires are 235/55/18 and the rear tires are 255/60/18.

Driver and passenger are welcomed to the interior of the truck by a bench seat that is wrapped in high-quality saddle vinyl. The floor of the interior is covered in black carpet that matches the door panels. The upper portion of the cab is lined with an original-style liner. The painted dash is home to a full set of gauges, including a global positioning system speedometer. A new steering wheel sits atop the steering column.

The truck is wired with all new wiring that permits all of the truck’s electrical components to function as designed, including every gauge, every light, and the wipers. The truck is wired for a stereo but a stereo is not installed.

As you can see, this is a super nice truck. The truck is completely rust-free and road-ready in every way. The truck runs, rides, and drives great and it is a consistent provider of worry-free enjoyment. As I mentioned, the restoration was well-documented and I have two 3-ring binders full of receipts that accompanied the parts and labor. Please review the numerous pictures of the truck that I have uploaded to support my claim related to the condition of the truck.

The truck carries a clean and clear title that is ready for transfer.

Interested parties are welcomed to have the truck inspected but all inspections must be completed before the end of the auction. If you have questions or uncertainties about the truck or the purchase process, please contact me with those questions or uncertainties before bidding. I can be reached with a call or a text at (270) 748-1882. If I do not answer, please leave a message and I will return your call as soon as possible.
