Description

Very nice 1950 Ford Tudor Custom Deluxe for sale! We purchased this car from the second owner who drove and enjoyed the car for several years. This has always been a Southern car so it's never seen salt or sand. No rust that we have found in the floors, trunk, doors, quarters, fenders, etc. The body on the car is exceptionally straight and has been color sanded and buffed to a high gloss, very minimal orange peel. All the stainless steel trim was polished and straightened when the car was painted. The grille is original and in nice condition with only a few scratches on the top surface. Both front and rear bumpers were replated and are still in great condition. The gaps are consistent across the whole car. The doors open and close nicely, do not need to be slammed shut. Glass is original and in good condition. Trim rings and hub caps are in excellent condition with good Firestone Radial whitewall tires (5 total with good tread). New emblems and the correct Ford "3 bar" fender skirts.
The interior is in great condition with new LaBaron Bonney seat covers under dealer type seat covers for protection. Door panels, interior glass trim, and the headliner are all original to the car and in great condition for original components. The driver's door window trim frame has the typical arm wear. The dash also has the original paint and is in good condition. All gauges work in the original cluster (speedo, gas gauge, temp, voltage and oil pressure). The original AM radio has been rebuilt with an FM module so it picks up local FM stations; all through the original 6 volt charging system. Heater works as well.
Mechanically the car is solid. It starts readily even with the original 6 volt charging system, does not drag as most do. It was recently tuned up with new plugs, wires and cap. The engine has a few period correct performance modifications that include Offenhauser heads and intake with dual carburetors. The engine compartment has some other chrome dress up accessories, overall very clean. It has the original 3 speed transmission with functional overdrive so it will run the interstates with no trouble. Clutch is good and does not chatter. The brakes have been recently rebuilt with new wheel cylinders, hoses, brake shoes, and a master cylinder.
Overall, this car is a very solid car that runs and drives great. It's ready for cruises and car shows anywhere! Below is a quick video walk around of the car where you can hear the car run. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you!
