GRABBER LIME, M CODE, 351C 4V, 4 SPEED, FOLD DOWN, RAM AIR, POSI, STRIPES, RARE
Description
VERY HARD TO FIND A 1971 TO 1973 MUSTANG WITH THESE FACTORY OPTIONS!
True MACH I, GRABBER LIME, M-code 351 4V COBRA JET engine, TOPLOADER 4 SPEED, 3.25 POSI, factory RAM-AIR car, factory FOLD-DOWN rear seat car, factory SIDE STRIPES, and black DELUXE Mach I interior. Just look at the factory Eminger invoice and all those COOL OPTIONS!
Numbers matching, "BORN WITH" drive train! Motor runs flawlessly, with no smoking or leaks of any kind. Transmission shifts through and runs in all gears. As an M-code car, this car comes with factory competition suspension, which includes staggered rear shocks, rear sway bar, and special springs and shocks.
Needs floor, trunk, cowl, battery box, and tail light panel rust repair. Very easy work for an experienced body man, and correct replacement metal is available and cheap. Body parts in black primer were taken from another project. They are nothing to "write home about", but real Ford sheet metal.
I crawled under the car and took pics documenting the flawless condition of the structural components. Again: this car has NO structural rust!!! Just easy to repair sheet metal stuff. Text/email me for the more pics.
Originally a Kentucky car that has never seen salt. FRAME RAILS, ROCKERS, AND TORQUE BOXES ARE GORGEOUS! Never wrecked, arrow straight body, all original lime paint where you see it in the pics. The rear quarters are near flawless with only a few small holes in the very bottom.
Missing trunk lid, bumpers, gauges, ram-air parts, and windshield. Doors are bare shells. Some of the interior trim is gone, but the fold down seat is there. I am including a set of used deluxe door panels for parts as well as a pair of front seats that will need to be recovered. No extra charge for those COOL SIDE PIPES and slotted mags either, lol!
This would make a very easy restoration project, Boss 351 clone, or even a good donor car for a Boss 351 project. Good car for someone with some extra parts lying around and looking for a home.
I have already installed a new radiator, cleaned out and installed a mint factory fuel tank with new fuel filters and a new fuel sending unit, and rebuilt the carburetor that was on it in order to get the car in running condition.
Cars this age are not titled in Alabama but the car is tagged and registered in my name. This registration and a Bill of Sale is all anyone needs to title the car in a state that titles cars this age. Text me for more pics and info. Kevin 205-222-3646.
