1994 Ford Mustang Cobra #1981
Description
You are bidding on a 1994 Mustang Cobra, #1981
I'm the original owner, purchased new off the lot in 1994 with 2 miles on the odometer. This car runs great, suspension is still tight, never smoked in, and has a clear title with no wrecks or other issues. Engine runs strong, World-class T5 is a little whiny in reverse, but clicks into gear with a Steeda short-throw shifter and adjustable clutch quadrant.
This model is equipped with the factory 302D code engine, GT40 heads and intake, anti-lock brakes, short headers, tan leather interior and Rio Red paint. The factory Mach460 radio/cassette/CD Player is still installed (the CD works fine, but the cassette doesn't seem to work anymore.) All other electronics (power windows, power seat, trunk release, foglights, defroster) work great. AC runs cold, vents work and blow on all settings.
The car has 4 brand-new BF Goodrich Sport Comp 2 tires as of 8/2018, and about 70k on the Ford Motorsport King Cobra clutch, which releases high as on most SN95 cars. In addition to the FMS strut tower brace, the car is equipped with the Ford Motorsport Aluminum driveshaft, and has 2003 Cobra front lower control arms and a Fluidyne aluminum radiator. All fluids are new, and the battery was replaced in May.
The interior is an easy 9.5/10, drivers seat has some wear but no tears, other seats have barely been used. Door cards and dashboard are in excellent condition, and the clock still works! Exterior is good, too. Bumpers are slightly faded, and there are some small paint imperfections, with a few dings on the passenger rear. I tried to photograph them, but they're pretty small. Also, I haven't removed the window-tint from the rear window, it's faded and has some bubbles.
The buyer will receive the Ford SVT certificate of authenticity, as well as a 1994 Ford Mustang service manual.
