Description

1934 5 window Henry Steel Ford Coupe. A true barn find, the original frame has been boxed for the 331 Chrysler firepower Blown Hemi. The platform was a 1954 STANDARD bore block that was punched 30 over with a set of deck plates. Crank was turned 10 and polished. Everything new on heads with extensive porting and polishing. Rocker shafts send to Ca. to re-chromed, hardened . To make breathing a little better 2 1/4 Stainless Steel Zoomies, custom made. Pushing air is a 671 Dyers polished blower with a pair of 600 Holley's. Mallory has taken car of electronics. The fuel system is Aeromotive with speed controller. Correct radiator Walker 3 core with 2200 cfm of fan to cool. Girdle on bottom end for extra insurance. Tranny is a built turbo 400 with a strange chrome molly driveshaft connected to a chrome molly fab 9 rear with 389 posi and Moser axles. 4 wheel disc brakes power assisted. Built to run on pump gas.
The interior done in roll and pleat with ostrich insert, All window trim show chrome. Walnut dash signed by Big Daddy Garlits. Wheels are American Torque Thrust original. Mickey Thompson drag radials. This thing pulls straight and hooks up really well.
The frame paint has been done in epoxy. Body has been channeled for the perfect ride stance. Added new steel for the firewall. Solid floor throughout.
The color is Crystal Copper Custom base coat clear coat. The first thing that is noticed on the paint is how deep the color is. After that I get the question "is it fiberglass"! Not just many hours of body work.
