Description

1986 Mustang LX with GT package. This was the first year for fuel injection! Also first year for positrac and 8.8 inch rear end. Also one-year-only heads. '86 heads alone are in demand for racers. This one never raced. All stock down to the stereo. 5 speed stick shift. A/C and power accessories. Interior in like new condition except a little sag to driver's side map/glove pocket. No crashes frame or body work. This one has been garaged her whole life. No snow or inclement driving---only caught in the rain twice since I owned her. Purchased 1988. I have owned her since then. You will also notice that even the tires are the stock issued Goodyear Eagle Gatorbacks!!! Obviously you can't buy these for many years and this is actually just the second set of tires in this car's life. Everything including AC works. Unmolested, unraced, and unthrashed versions of Fox body Mustangs almost don't exist and with the uniqueness of the 1986, this would be one of the top Fox body examples for a Mustang collector. Or someone who wanted one at the time but wasn't in position to get one until now. Paint is in good condition but as with all black cars, any small chips or blemishes are more visible. A good buff shop would bring the paint back to like new. Non smoker car.

Once this one is gone, you will not get another chance, certainly not at this price. Note: the steering wheel is upside down in the photos due to turning it in the drive and not telling my photographer (still love ya, babe) to fix it before taking pix. But I added a photo at the bottom with the wheels and steering wheel pointing basically straight for your viewing preference
