1976 FORD ELITE
Description
For your consideration is a 1976 Ford Elite. This car has 29,000 original miles, and has sat in storage for 30 years. It has a 351w engine, C4 transmission, and a 9” rear with 2.75 gears. The body has been repainted but is in good shape with small scratches, and a spot of rust on the rear quarter panel. The floorboards and trunk are also solid.
It features rallye pack gauges, power windows, power trunk release, power antenna, and rear window defroster. The car has air-conditioning, but the evaporator coil will need replacement. The interior is in good shape with only a small tear in the headliner. The exterior has a small crack in the passenger side tail light lens, a small piece of bumper trim missing, and some bubbling under the vinyl top.
I purchased this car from an auction, and I have completely tuned up the engine with new spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap, rotor, and PVC valve. I have also changed the air filter, oil filter, oil, trans filter, and trans fluid. The following parts have been replaced:Carburetor, fuelpump, new tires, muffler, and vacuum modulator
This is not a concours restoration, but a great classic driver in good condition. The Ford is tagged and I have put about 450 miles on it since putting it back on the road.
