Description

*** Last time on eBay!!!, Listed again due to two bidders that did not respond/pay, please if you do, be serious about purchasing the car.No zero feedback or international bidders please. I’ll report to eBay Thank you. ***Purchased new locally at Lutesville Ford Motor Co. March 9th of 1974 as proven by protecto plate shown. True survivor car, nothing was touched up, sprayed or covered, as original as it gets;well taken care of in very nice overall condition. Runs and drives very smooth. It was taken as a payment by second owner recently to work on first owner's aircraft. This gentlemandid not do much with it; he bought a 1966 Thunderbird and I saved this car a few months ago from being abandoned. MO Title is clean and clear to my name, lien free ready to hand to new owner.
No driving noises, intact suspension trouble free, drivetrain is smooth and quiet. Transmission shifts smooth; shifts through all gears and reverse smoothly without hesitation or hard shifting.
Very original and unmolested car; just new vitals purchased to make it a driver, very solid cruiser.
Big block 400, idles good but up and down sometimes; maybe a vacuum leak somewhere, but the more this car is driven the better it gets. Plenty of power to move this heavy car, strong engine that runs great.Power steering that works effortlessly without noises or lockups and power brakes stops this car firmly and in a straight line, cruise control (does not work), AM radio (turns on but no sound) and ac all there; just blows warm air.Original local car its entire life, always stored until last 5 years sitting outside. Minimal rust in rear of rightquarter behind rear tire, small hole under rear seat and rear bumper bracket on that area as well. Rest of frame and body is solid, as seen in pictures, rust free withno accidents and straight and clean body, no body repairs/bondo anywhere.New gas tank (needs a sending unit installed, included), servicedcarb, new brake booster, new master cylinder, new battery, new tires, new coil, spark plug wires. All dash components fuctional except the gas gauge. All trim and emblems present (some in the glovebox), bumpers in nice condition (rear a little more pitted than front), headliner in excellent condition, door cards good but cracked at handles, C pillar cards wavy but all there.Front seat with tipical splits in driver side and rest of it and rear seat in near perfect condition.Lightning is good, however headlights work but they need to be re wired properly.Reverse, parking, side markers and brake lights are all functional. Exhaust is good with repaired collector and new chrome tip welded; there's an exhaust leak from right side manifold gasket.Paint is faded, the red you see is the factory primer; pictures taken wet to show how nice and straight this car is. Clear coat it, repaint it or do whatever you like; selling it original as shown. All glass in excellent condition besides wiper scratches on windshield at bottom.Dash repaired poorly and carpet a little tired but both original.Trunk area is rust free with jack and spare included; trunk lid inside shows true factory color and spare instruction sticker still there after 44 years.Trunk lid, hood and door shuts closed beautifully; just a jump in drivers door that needs a new pin.Original keys included along original factory Ford Warranty Envelope, owners manual, first records and the hard to find protectoplate included with this survivor car. This LTD is currently hangared waiting for its new owner.Any questions, just use "ask seller a question" and I gladly reply as soon as possible. You are buying a 44 year old used car from the 70s, far better than others; still an old original car.Test drives/inspections welcome prior purchase with cash in hand only. final price is buying price.Listed locally as well, I reserve the right to remove this auction if sells locally.Possible trades are only running and driving BMWs from 1970 to early 90s or other interesting German cars of the era preferably manuals; worst I can say is no.Deposit of $250 non refundable within 24 hours and cash or cashiers check within 7 days of auction ending date.
