Description

Hello,
You are bidding on a rare 1988 Ford Mustang GT with the Factory T-Top option. This car was produced by Ford for only 1 full year in 1987 and part of 1988, making the 1988 model MORE rare then the 1987 model. This is an original 88 Ford manufactured T-Top model, not a modified version with the T-Tops added (I have the Marti Report to confirm this) that will go to the buyer of this car. The Car is over 30 years old, and isn't a show car however its fully drivable with functioning headlights, wipers, horn, heat, defroster, etc. The title is clean!, There's some areas that needs to be addressed, such as there's a small oil leak from the rear main seal, the overdrive band needs to be replaced, the interior needs some attention, and I noticed that the car smokes sometimes from the exhaust. The smoke appears to be Grayish in color, and smells more like fuel, it's doesn't appear to be oil. I've put a good amount of money into this vehicle since I've owned it, I had the Main CPU replaced & the harness rewired, I had a new gas tank put in, along with the fuel pump & rails, new shocks & struts, battery (installed On 9/23/2018), starter, alternator, etc. The engine is bone stock, and starts right Up! The only modification that I made was change the OEM dual exhaust to the American Thunder Cat back dual exhaust. Look at the pictures ofthe strut towers & the engine bay. I've received a few questions about those areas, also the floor board underneath the car is in decent shape with some rust present, but way far from being rotted through..The car is over 30 years old, so that's to be expected. I was thinking about slowly restoring the car, but I'm 48 years old and just lost interest in it. The car is a rare classic that deserves a nice new home. Now for the T-Tops, for the 6 years that I've owned the car the T-Tops never leaked. or gave me any problems.I would recommend not driving the vehicle for an extended amount of miles/hours until its thoroughly inspected by a mechanic. I used the car primarily for local/occasional driving, I've never drove it more than 50 miles per trip, I'm not saying it won't make it further then that, that's just the furthest I've driven it for. Last thing, there was a slight fender bender on the passenger side rear quarter panel that was repaired & painted. I was taking my son to school one morning when this lady decided to open her door from the driver's side as I was driving down the street, the damage was minor and she paid for the repairs. If there's any other questions or concern feel free to ask. I hope I provided some clarity for some of the questions/concerns out there. *** PLEASE SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY!*** I'M RELISTING THIS CAR DUE TO THE PREVIOUS WINNER NOT FULFULLING THEIR OBLIGATION OF THE TERMS OF THE AUCTION, IF YOU HAVE A FEEDBACK RATING OF UNDER 10 TRANSACTIONS CONTACT ME 1st BEFORE BIDDING. LISTING A VEHICLE ON EBAY COST MONEY & MY TIME. I hope everyone understands where I'm coming from. Good Luck!
Thank You!Julius
