1965 FORD Galaxie 500 2 Door hardtop

This 1965 FORD Galaxie 500 2 door hardtop has been in my family since brand new. I inherited the car in the early 1990's. As it was a very low mileage, wonderfully well, kept car that had significance to me. I decided to have it refreshed to new condition. The body was removed from the frame, and completely renewed. The body was painted with DuPont Chroma-Premiere base/ clear coat system, the best paint thatDuPont made. As you can see, the chassis was media blasted and refinished, then all wear items were replaced with Ford parts. The engine was cleaned, refreshed and repainte, the transmission was likewise renewed. The interior was and is MINT. The dash pad is perfect, uncracked. This car lived in a garage all its life., Since it has been mine, it lives in a climate controlled building along with my extensive collection of antique cars. Since 1990, it has never seen rain or bad weather. You can drive this car with ease and enjoy the road in quiet comfort. My uncle was senior police official in NJ and apparently special ordered this car with power disc brakes, something that I don't believe was commonly available until 1967. it has an AM FM radio, factory Air ( COLD) and drives like new. NO rot, rust or accidents ever!
