1979 F150 XLT Ranger

Original 1979 Ford F150 XLT RangerFirst the reason I'm selling is that I just discovered I have two herniated disc that are pressing in my nerve canal on my spine and will need surgery that will leave me incapacitated for a year. It was my full intention to keep the truck and do the finishing touches. Truck is an Arkansas truck, very minimal rust with the only places being the door drip rails at the top. Very solid truck, underside is remarkable for 40 years old. Matching numbers drivetrain. Truck runs goo, starts easily. Motor was rebuilt about 2 years ago. Speedometer does not work, needs a new cable($22.00 on ebay) Has power steering and power brakes.Three speed automatic shifts as it should. It is a 2wd,Lwb with a 4 inch lift. Tires are in 31x10.5x15 with decent tread mounted on Rock Crawler rims. The 460 was bored 60 over to a 472 cubic inch. It has Hyperpneumatic flat top pistons, Lunati cam, new heads, new crank, Eldebrock intake, Holley 750 dual pumper, Mallory distributor, new heater core, custom valve covers,new heater hoses, new lower radiator hose, new glove box, have all new weatherstripping for both doors including window channel rubbers from LMC which needs to be installed. AC does not work. As with a 40 year old truck there are a few things that need to he addressed but these are minor. Heater works great, lights,turn signals, horn even the original radio works. Has new seat upholstery, new carpet. Bed just had Herculiner painted in. I have the original evaporator for the AC .
