Selling my Beautiful 65 Mustang. Its ready to drive and enjoy.
She started life as a 65k mile 1965 GT 289 with a three speed auto. Its now a New 302 Motor with a 4 Speed Manual transmission.
Arizona car with I believe two owners from new. I restored her because it was a completely rust free body, when I say rust free, I mean zero rust anywhere. My painter told me it was the straightest body he has ever seen.
The car was originally Baby blue metallic and has had a comprehensive bare metal down to the the shell concours standard repaint in Bullitt Green. The paint is exceptional. New Chrome all around. New Rubber all around.The original motor and trans will come with the car if required. In the unrestored original state, on a Pallet.
The car now runs a completely rebuilt and refurbished 302 Motor with an automatic choke Holley Carb, HEI style Electronic ignition, High Torque Starter motor, Custom wrapped Headers and custom made Exhaust system.New Aluminum Radiator with Electric high CFM thermo controlled fan.Dealer Fitted A/C from new, all new lines, compressor etc. Blows super cold even in the Georgia Summer.New upgraded power steering that doesn't leak! Find another Mustang that doesn't !We removed the old Z Barr manual Clutch assembly, comes in a box with the motor. And replaced it with a very expensive hydraulic assembly that makes the car sooo much nicer to drive.New Brakes all around, New Wheels x 5, new Tires.Remote trunk release mechanism has been installed and Remote keyfob locking on doors and the trunk.
Completely refurbished interior using all new components, seats, dashpad, steering wheel, centre console, Hurstshifter Mechanism. New Trunk trim etcNew Headining, new carpets.An Period style Audio system with new speakers in the original positions has been fitted and it supports Aux input and bluetooth.
The car has been driven for 1 Thousand miles with no issues, its ready to drive and enjoy. She sounds fantastic...... Unlike other restorations using aftermarket bodywork, as this has all or its original panels and doors, the fit and finish is exceptional.She looks period but has been designed to be a modern useable drive. You can even use your phone legally in her!
