1967 Ford Mustang coupe ready to finish restoring!
Description
This Mustang was acquired in the 1970's in a swap with a neighbor for a Chevy pickup, and was last registered in 1981. It was a daily driver till the mid-1980's, and is now in the process of being restored. It is a complete car - all the parts are there. The fenders, hood and grill were removed for better access to the engine area and the front part of the frame. The mechanical portion is 95% complete - a completely rebuilt 302 engine with Edelbrock high rise intake and 4 barrel carburetor. All new factory structural parts forward of the firewall, complete new front suspension, shock towers and shocks, and steering linkage. New brakes - drum - and lines, U-joints. New fuel tank. IT IS DRIVEABLE!. It will smoke the tires in second gear. The original numbers-correct 289 engine is included! The next step in the restoration will be to clean up and re-assemble the sheet metal. The body parts are complete - fenders, grill, bumper, hood. Then the interior. It started out with red upholstery and seats, and a second set of blue seats comes with. The instrumentation is complete, and all work properly. To the best of our knowledge, the car has never been in an accident. As we progress, our costs increase, as will the price. The price shown here is for the car as is, yesterday. As more work is done, the price will obviously have to increase. It will obviously not go anywhere until fully paid for. No warranty. As is, Where is. PAYPAL!
