Description
This 1988 model Ranger pickup was purchased new in Southern California in January, 1989. The same day, the full bed liner, camper shell and 2 inch receiver hitch were installed. It spent the next 6 years on a 60 mile five day commute on LA freeways. In 2000, it began a six year 55 mile commute on Idaho highways. In both cases, the driver was in a coat and tie work environment. It never failed to deliver. In 2003 it was repainted the original blue, and in 2009 it became the third vehicle in a two-driver family. In 2013 it became the second pickup on a one-pickup farm. The restoration began in 2017. A reground crank, rods and mains, timing chain, sprockets, oil pump, valve lifters, etc and all new gaskets were installed in the engine. The camper shell has new gas struts and lock. All the power options are functional; the AC could use a re-charge. It has never been in an accident. it's also being shown locally. Sold as is, where is, no warranty.
