TRUE & ORIGINAL SURVIVOR XL EDITION 85,656 MILES 2.9 ENGINE 5-SPEED 2-WHEEL
Description
*THIS 1990 FORD BRONCO II "XL" IS BEING OFFERED FOR SALE BY SHERMAN AUTO SALES, INC. OUR COMPANY IS A FULLY LICENSED 72 YEAR OLD FAMILY OWNED USED CAR DEALERSHIP IN FENTON, MO. WE ARE ONE OF THE OLDEST USED CAR DEALERSHIPS IN MISSOURI, THAT IS STILL OWNED BY THE ORIGINAL FAMILY. MY NAME IS MARK SHERMAN, PRES. AND OWNER. I WILL BE PLEASED TO ACCEPT PHONE CALLS AT 314 920-2804 OR ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS THROUGH E-BAY.
*THIS BRONCO II IS TRULY AN ORIGINAL SURVIVOR. IT HAS BEEN ADULT OWNED AND CARED FOR. IT IS AN AMAZING VEHICLE FOR 28 YEARS OLD. IT STILL HAS THE ASSEMBLY NUMBER MARKINGS ON THE FRAME.
*MY DESCRIPTION WILL BE VERY DETAILED IN TRYING TO PRESENT A PROPER PICTURE OF THIS BRONCO II.
*THIS HAS THE XL TRIM PACKAGE, 2.9 (6-CYLINDER ENGINE), 5-SPEED TRANSMISSION, 2 WHEEL DRIVE, AIR CONDITIONING, POWER STEERING & BRAKES, & FACTORY OPTION ALUMINUM WHEELS
*THE PREVIOUS OWNER WAS FROM ALABAMA. WE WERE FORTUNATE TO DEAL WITH A COMPANY THAT WAS TAKING THIS VEHICLE IN TRADE. MY COMPANY PURCHASED THE VEHICLE AND IT WAS TRANSPORTED BY A TRANSPORT CARRIER TO ST. LOUIS, MO.
*THE VEHICLE HAS A CLEAN CARFAX THAT IS AVAILABLE FOR A PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMER. THIS WILL SAVE ANYONE THE COST OF RUNNING A REPORT
*MY COMPANY HAS DONE VERY LITTLE TO THIS TRUCK. THE PICTURES ALL HAVE ZOOM OPTION AND ENLARGEMENT.
*THE TRUCK RUNS AND DRIVES VERY WELL.
*I HAD THE VEHICLE LOOKED OVER PRIOR TO DOING THIS LISTING BY A NEIGHBORHOOD MECHANIC THAT IS A TRUE FORD PERSON. I WANTED TO HAVE A VERY CLEAR PICTURE OF THE VEHICLE. HE WAS IMPRESSED WITH THE MECHANICAL AND ORIGINAL CONDITION OF THIS VEHICLE. HE ADDRESSED SMALL ITEMS THAT WILL BE DESCRIBED BELOW.
*EVERYTHING UNDER THE HOOD, INCLUDING THE HOOD PAD SHOWS NICELY. THIS HAS NOT BEEN CLEANED OR DETAILED.
*THE PAINT IS THE ORIGINAL 2-STAGE PAINT. IT LOOKS ORIGINAL, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF ONE SPOT ON THE UPPER SECTION OF THE REAR TAILGATE. THIS WAS POINTED OUT TO ME BY THE MECHANIC OR I WOULD HAVE MISSED IT
*THE PAINT ON THE HOOD AND ROOF, DOES SHOW SOME MINOR LOSS OF CLEAR COAT. THIS WAS VERY COMMON ON THIS AGE VEHICLE AND WAS THE EARLY STAGES OF CLEAR COAT FOR FORD. THIS WILL SHOW AS A LIGHT WHITE SHADOW. THE MECHANIC DID RUN A BUFFER OVER THE HOOD ONLY, SO THIS CAN BE SEEN IN THE PICTURES. (THERE IS A PICTURE OF THE HOOD THAT WILL SHOW THIS LIGHT WHITENESS THROUGH THE SHINE. THE OTHER BODY PANELS AS THEY ARE SIDE PANELS WOULD BUFF OUT NICELY. THESE WERE NOT TOUCHED.
*I WAS TOLD THE BODY STRIPE PACKAGE WAS FACTORY. PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG. THE STRIPES ARE A SERIES OF GRADUATED LINES IN SIZE. YOU WILL SEE A FEW OF THE STRIPE PANELS THAT HAVE SMALL SECTIONS MISSING FROM AGE. THIS CAN BE SEEN IN THE PHOTOS.
*THE HOOD SHOWS VERY MINOR HAIL, THAT IN NO WAY TAKES AWAY FROM THE TRUCK.
*I HAVE A BILL FROM THIS MECHANIC FOR $306.97 THAT COVERED HIS LABOR AND INSPECTIONS. THE WORK PERFORMED WAS GREASE, OIL, AND FILTER, THE THROTTLE BODY WAS PROPERLY DE-CARBONED DUE TO THE AGE. THE REAR TAIL-GATE LATCH WAS ADJUSTED AND THE PLASTIC INSERTS WERE REPLACED AROUND THE TAILGATE SLEEVES, AND THE HOOD WAS PROFESSIONALLBUFFED AND POLISHED. THIS RECEIPT IS WITH THE TRUCK.
*I HAVE DRIVEN THIS TRUCK APPROX 75 MILES AND IT RUNS AND DRIVES AS A LOW MILEAGE VEHICLE WOULD BE.
*I "DID NOT" HAVE THE VEHICLE CLEANED OR DETAILED. THE INTERIOR IS ORIGINAL. THE HEADLINER HAS BEEN REPLACED PRIOR TO MY PURCHASE. THERE WAS A DASH COVER, THAT WAS PLACED IN THE REAR CARGO COMPARTMENT. THE DASH IS PERFECT.
*THERE IS ONE SMALL HOLE ON THE SIDE OF THE DRIVER'S SEAT FROM THE CHROME HANDLE. (THIS CAN BE SEEN IN THE PICTURES).
*THE ORIGINAL OWNER DID HAVE THE CENTER ARMREST REMOVED AS THE PLASTIC ARM WAS BROKEN. (I HAVE THE ORIGINAL ARMREST THAT WAS IN THE VEHICLE AND THE CLOTH STILL SHOWS VERY NICELY). THE PREVIOUS OWNER HAD AN ALUMINUM PLATE MADE TO FIT THE OPENING IN THE CENTER CONSOLE AND THIS NOW APPEARS LIKE IT CAME THAT WAY FROM THE FACTORY. THE MECHANIC THAT INSPECTED THIS VEHICLE SAID THE ARMREST HAD A PLASTIC HINGE WITH NO PROPER SUPPORT ON THE OPPOSITE END AND THESE NORMALLY BROKE DUE TO THE PERSONS PRESSURE FROM LEANING/
*THE TIRES ARE ALL MATCHED GOODYEAR WRANGLERS THAT ARE AS CLOSE TO NEW AS POSSIBLE. 90%+. THE ORIGINAL SPARE TIRE HAS NEVER BEEN USED. THE FACTORY ACCESSORY ORIGINAL TIRE COVER HAS A SMALL BLACK TAPE PATCH ON THE TOP OF THE COVER.
*THE ORIGINAL FACTORY ALUMINUM WHEELS SHOWS SOME LIGHT STAINING FROM PREVIOUS CLEANERS THAT WERE USED. THIS I FEEL COULD DEFINITELY BE CLEANED AND RE-POLISHED BY AN ALLOY WHEEL SERVICE. THE CENTERS ON THE PLASTIC CAPS ALSO SHOW SOME PAINT LOSS.
*THE TAIL PIPE ON THE BACK EDGE AT THE CURVE HAS A FEW RUST SPOTS. THIS END SECTION WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED. THE REST OF THE EXHAUST LOOKS VERY GOOD.
*THE WINDSHIELD WASHER PUMP DID NOT OPERATE AND WOULD NEED A NEW WASHER PUMP INSTALLED IN THE PLASTIC RESEVOIR.
*I PERSONALLY NOTICED ONE SMALL SPOT ON THE HEADLINER BY THE FRONT DRIVERS CORNER BY THE SUNVISOR THAT WAS SPOTTED. IT APPEARS AT ONE TIME THAT THE WINDSHIELD MIGHT HAVE HAD A SLIGHT LEAK. THE OUTSIDE MOLDING ON THE WINDSHIELD AT THAT AREA, HAS A THIN EDGE OF SILICONE. THE AREA IS DRY. IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE CORNER MAY NEED TO BE RE-SEALED. I FELT THIS NEEDED TO BE MENTIONED.
*THE EXTERIOR RUBBER WINDOW MOLDING ON THE LARGE SIDE GLASS WINDOWS SHOW SOME SLIGHT DRYNESS FROM AGE. THEY ARE STILL FINE AND WOULD BE LEFT ALONE.
*THE RADIO IS A HIGH QUALITY PIONEER REPLACEMENT FROM THE ORIGINAL. THE SOUND AND QUALITY IS VERY GOOD. THE OWNER HAS VEL-CROED THE REMOTE CONTROL FOR THE RADIO, IN THE CENTER OF THE STEERING WHEEL. THE REMOTE CONTROL DID NOT OPERATE. MOST LIKELY THIS HAD A BAD BATTERY IN THE REMOTE.
*IN CONCLUSION, I FEEL THE VEHICLE I AM REPRESENTING IS A VERY TRUE AND REAL TRUCK. MY COMPANY TAKES PRIDE IN DESCRIBING A VEHICLE PROPERLY. IT IS IMPORTANT TO MYSELF AS THE SELLER TO DESCRIBE A VEHICLE IN PROPER AND SPECIFIC DETAILS. IF A PERSON WILL READ MY COMPLETE LISTING AND GO THROUGH THE PICTURES WITH THE ENLARGEMENTS, THEY WILL HAVE A PROPER PICTURE OF THE BRONCO. BOTH THE SELLER AND THE BUYER HAVE TO BE ON AN EQUAL LEVEL OF UNDERSTANDING TO DO BUSINESS. THAT IS THE ONLY WAY IT WORKS.
*THIS IS A TRUCK THAT ANYONE WOULD BE PROUD TO OWN. THIS VEHICLE DUE TO THE QUALITY AND RARENESS IS WORTH BRING UP TO A SHOW QUALITY CONDITION.
*THIS AGAIN IS AN AMAZING TRUCK THAT HAS NOT BEEN WEATHERED. THE BODY PANELS DO NOT HAVE RUST. THE BOTTOM OF THE DOORS AS SHOWN IN ONE OF THE PICTURES IS VERY FRESH AND ORIGINAL.
*IN REFERENCE TO SELLING OUR VEHICLES, MY COMPANY DOES NOT CHARGE ANY TYPE OF DOCUMENTARY FEES. MOST DEALERS CHARGE APPROX. $200.00.
*WE WOULD BE PLEASED TO ASSIST IN HELPING ARRANGE TRANSPORTATION FOR SHIPPING. THE TRANSPORTATION FEE IS PAID DIRECTLY TO THE SHIPPING COMPANY. WE DO NOT CHARGE FOR ANY ASSISTANCE.
*A $500.00 "FULLY REFUNDABLE" DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED TO CLOSE THE LISTING. PAYPAL IS THE RECOMMENDED MANNER FOR DEPOSITS ONLY. SUGGESTED MANNER OF PAYMENT IS A WIRE TRANSFER THROUGH A BANK OR CASHIER'S CHECK.
*THE VEHICLES THAT WE SELL AS THEY ARE USED ARE SOLD AS-IS.
*THE VEHICLE IS AVAILABLE IN OUR HEATED WAREHOUSE FOR ANY TYPE OF INSPECTION OR VIEWING.
*PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ASK ANY QUESTIONS.
*Thank you for reading this description. Regards, Mark Sherman 314 920-2804
