NOSTALGIC SPORT W/ NEW PAINT. 4 SPEED NP TRANS, LIFT, POSIU15GLL05865
Must sell for home upgrades! Wife says it can't stay!
This genuine Sport model Bronco was born in February of 1971 and was first sold in Kansas City Missouri (DSO 53) and was Raven Black. It is now freshly painted in 2 stage candy apple red with clear (November 2018).
It has a V8 engine (rebuilt by previous owner) that has been converted to a single serpentine belt system (including power steering pump). It has an Edelbrock Performance
Four Barrel Carburetor bolted to a Weiand 4 barrel aluminum intake manifold. A stock blue metal air cleaner is included. The engine has electronic ignition with Duraspark.
It has 1&5/8" headers with dual exhaust out to full tailpipes that exit below rear bumper.
The transmission is the desirable New Process 435 Top Loader 4 speed. (Rebuilt by previous owner). These transmissions have a great reputation and are considered
an upgrade from the factory 3 speed transmissions.
Dana 20 transfer case with twin stick shifters
Has the preferred Dana 44 front axle
Rear axle assembly is the Ford 9 inch with positraction/locker
James Duff Suspension Lift with 70/30 Adjustable shocks and trac bar drop down bracket
Custom tube bumpers front and rear
New battery, new battery cables, new solenoid, new ignition switch and key tumbler
New 2 stage candy apple red paint with clearcoat. The body was sanded smooth and primed complete before painting with a good quality polyester primer surfacer and then was
block sanded by hand. The left rocker was replaced with a new steel panel from Tom's Bronco and was mig welded in place. The tailgate and hardtop were removed for paint and were
painted separately. The door jambs were painted to match. The hardtop was sanded and primed complete before being repainted in Wimbledon White. The grill was repainted in
silver metallic, as factory original Sports had silver grilles when new. The new fender flares were painted separately off of the truck and installed with new rubber
weatherstripping.
New "302" chrome fender emblems from Tom's Bronco Parts, along with new bronco "Sport" emblems, new chrome headlight bezel, new turn signal lenses, new side marker lenses installed on original stainless trim.
The interior includes a folding rear bench seat and has custom highback bucket seats with new black door panels from Tom's Bronco included (not pictured)
The interior also has a full cage
Included are the passenger vent window glass and passenger door glass which were removed for paint. This great looking bronco will need to be finished by the new owner. Also - I will be including a brand new radiator and a new rear fuel tank which the buyer will need to have installed.
