Description

You are bidding on an "Original One Owner" 1969 R-Code Cobra Jet Mustang. Sometimes, but not often you find the best cars where you never expect to find them. This is that car.

Far from its original birthplace in San Jose California, this Factory 4-speed along with Ford's legendary 428 Cobra Jet engine never left the grip of the original owner until just a few months ago when I had the opportunity to acquire the car.

The car currently does not run.The car was running and driving for the walk around video but locked up when putting it back in the garage.Again, the car is not currently running or driving. The motor will need a complete rebuild before it will run again. The engine block is not verified to be original but the heads, intake, carburetor, fan and fan clutch, and radiator and shroud all appear to be original to the car.

When Ford designed and produced this FE powered R-Code nearly a half-century ago, it still maintains the original paint with some patina showing through over the years of modest use.

Although missing some under the hood engine detail components typical for the time period, the "Hard to Find" all original items still intact include : Radiator / Shaker Assembly / Fan, Clutch & Shroud / matching Engine #'s ............ and the list goes on.

The interior is all original and does not show typical 50 year-old patina ........... it's nice.

The car is documented with the Tennessee Title Registration from 1970 when the original owner moved from Texas to Tennessee showing he bought the car new in February of 1969. I also have the Marti Report for the car as well.

It is most difficult today to find "a true survivor" that has not had significant panel and multi-levels of restoration or designed into a modernized replica.

Very Solid, Original Paint and as original to factory specifications as you will ever find...... it's time for someone desiring to take Ford's History and cement their own memories !

This car is selling with NO RESERVE!

Thanks for your interest and please email or call with any additional questions or issues not covered in listing. Jason 865 621-4012
